Effective April 1, 2006, Mr. M.F.N.E. (Michel) Coumans (54), currently Senior Vice President Operations Control & Fleet Services, is appointed Managing Director KLM cityhopper / Chief Executive Officer KLM cityhopper UK.

In taking up his new position, Mr. Coumans will be succeeding Ms. E.F. (Elfrieke) van Galen (44). Effective October 1, 2006, Ms. Van Galen will be appointed to a new position within the KLM Group, for which she will be preparing in the months ahead.
