KLM removes stranded passengers from Bangkok via Phuket

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines operated a special flight today in an effort to remove passengers stranded in Thailand since Bangkok's international airport closed. The flight departed from Phuket under flight number KL0814. After making a short stop in Kuala Lumpur, it is expected to land at Schiphol at about 4.30 hrs Tuesday morning, Dutch time.

KLM and Air France have planned a number of flights in tandem to bring more passengers to Amsterdam and Paris. KLM has deployed more ground staff at Schiphol to assist transfer passengers.
