KLM resumes flights to Bangkok on 4 December

AMSTELVEEN, 03 December 2008 - The International Airport Suvarnabhumi of Bangkok has been reopened. Therefore KLM is resuming the direct flights to Bangkok starting 4 December.

KL877 will depart to Bangkok on Thursday 4 December at 08.35 pm. The return flight, the KL878, is expected to arrive on Saturday 6 December at 02.10 pm at Schiphol Airport.

Passengers to and from Taipei, the usual final destination, will be rebooked for this flight. From Friday 5 December the KL877 en KL878 via Bangkok to Taipei and vice versa, will be operated according to the normal schedule.

In the last few days KLM en Air France have flown stranded passengers back to Europe from Phuket Airport. Because of the restart of the regular flights, the KLM flight that was planned for Friday 5 December from Phuket Airport, is not required anymore and has therefore been cancelled.
